Fight for Peace continues to thrive as a hub of rising talent, and we are excited to be launching the next phase of our Young Creatives project – uniting ten exceptional creators to not only produce bold, authentic content for Fight for Peace, but to support long-time friends, funders and partners of our work in their storytelling efforts.
As we step confidently into this new chapter, the energy and momentum within the Young Creatives team is at an all time high. What started as a developmental opportunity for a handful of promising individuals has evolved into a fully fledged collective of creative professionals ready to take on commissions and collaborations that reach far beyond the walls of Fight for Peace.
Backed by Sport England, the project launched in 2022, offering paid opportunities for young people to shape the visual and narrative voice of Fight for Peace’s communications. Since then, the Young Creatives team has produced a wide range of high-quality, meaningful content, from videography and podcast production, to live event coverage, photography, content planning, and storytelling strategy – all rooted in authenticity and impact.
Four years into the project, the team is equipped with an impressive mix of technical, creative, and leadership skills – an invaluable resource we are excited to build on. Now is the perfect time for us to take the project to the next level by partnering with mission-aligned organisations, funders, and brands to deliver youth-led storytelling that’s rooted in authenticity and driven by purpose.

Each member of the Young Creatives brings a unique creative voice, making this a powerhouse of next-generation talent. Whether it’s short-form video for social media, creative direction for a campaign, or documentary-style storytelling, our Young Creatives are ready to deliver bold, fresh, and dynamic work that amplifies important messages and connects with audiences in new and innovative ways.
Looking back on what the team has already achieved, we’re incredibly proud of how far the project has come. What began as a pilot is now a respected and sought-after creative programme rooted in real development, impact and opportunity.
From covering Fight for Peace events, to delivering community-based creative projects, the team’s portfolio is impressive. A standout project includes I Love My Newham: ‘Still’ – an Arts Council England-funded celebration of our borough’s creativity, community, and culture, which gave our Young Creatives the chance to bring local stories to a wider audience through a number of live exhibitions showcasing film, photography and poetry.

As our Young Creatives project enters an exciting new phase, we also look towards internal projects such as the second season of our women-led podcast LutaPod. Building on the success of season one, the podcast offers a vital platform for women and girls to share their experiences in sport, with the aim of raising awareness and breaking down barriers to participation.
LutaPod is just one example of the inspiring, influential work being created by our Young Creatives, and we’re only getting started. We have also been successful in our application for the Newham Festival of Stories which will take place this November at Stratford Library.
Here, the I Love My Newham ‘Still’ team will have a chance to exhibit their work to a live audience again, with the opportunity to reach wider audiences and receive recognition for their powerful work. Young poet, Temmy will also be channeling her passion as an artist, and her natural flair with words through the delivery of a poetry workshop before the festival viewing kicks off.
As we look to the future, there is so much to look forward to, and we are proud to offer our creative services to organisations that like us, believe in the power of youth-led storytelling.
Whether you’re a community partner, a purpose-driven brand, or a funder seeking bold, authentic content that connects we are opening three opportunities for collaboration with our team of talented Young Creatives. The talented team is ready to collaborate, offering their unique vision, and a deep commitment to bringing fresh perspectives and professional polish to every project they take on.
