Fight for Peace supports young people at Academies in Rio de Janeiro and London. Our first Academy opened in 2000 in Complexo da Maré, a complex of favelas in Rio de Janeiro’s North Zone. This was followed in 2007 with the opening of our London Academy in Newham, East London. In 2011, two satellite projects were also opened in new locations within Complexo da Maré to reach young people across the entire complex.

Fight for Peace’s Global Network currently works in 25 countries. Our network of partner organisations are all aligned in their use of boxing and martial arts combined with personal development and education to enable young people to reach their potential.
