Monkstown Boxing Club is a community based sport and fitness club established in 1983 with the main aim of providing personal development opportunities for young people living in the Monkstown, Rathcoole and North Belfast areas. These areas have many young people who are NEET (not in education, employment or training), and a history of sectarian activity. The club offers very high quality boxing and fitness facilities in a community where there is very little provision for young people, and provides pre-fight training camps for local IBF World Champion Carl Frampton.

Monkstown Boxing Club is open to all, and offers elite and inclusive boxing activities. They also deliver a range of activities specifically targeting at risk young people, focused on issues including social exclusion, cross-community relations, capacity building, skills acquisition, personal development, and wellness. They also provide an after school club that supports young people with school work.
